Solvity s.r.o. is the controller responsible for any personal data processing described in this policy.
Our full address appears above. For any privacy question you can reach us at info@solvity.eu. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer;
privacy enquiries are handled at the same address.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to Sudoku by Solvity and explains how we handle personal data under the GDPR. It applies to everyone who downloads or uses the App. It does not cover the app store you used to obtain the App, which processes data as its own independent controller under its own privacy policy.
What Data We Collect
The App is designed to work entirely on your device. Solvity does not collect, receive, transmit, or store any personal data about you. The App contains no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and does not connect to our servers.
Any information the App generates as you play — such as your puzzle progress, game statistics, and app settings — is stored locally on your own device, stays under your control, and is not accessible to us. It is removed when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
Please note that the app store from which you downloaded the App may collect data about the download independently. That processing is governed by the store’s own privacy policy, not this one.
How and Why We Use Your Data
Because we do not collect any personal data, we do not use personal data for any purpose and do not rely on any lawful basis under Article 6 of the GDPR for such processing. The locally stored game data described above is used only on your device, solely to let the App function as a game.
Who We Share Data With
As we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to share or disclose, and we do not sell personal data. If this ever changes, we will update this policy before any such processing begins.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We do not store any personal data on our systems, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Game data held locally on your device remains there until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Access: to be told whether we process your data and to obtain a copy of it.
- Rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure: to have your data deleted in certain circumstances.
- Restriction: to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Data portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection: to object to certain processing of your data.
Because the App collects no personal data and we hold none about you, in practice there will usually be no data on which to act. You are nonetheless welcome to contact us at info@solvity.eu to exercise any of these rights. We handle requests free of charge and respond within one month; for complex requests we may extend this by up to two further months and will tell you if we do.
Right to Complain
If you believe your data protection rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic, www.uoou.gov.cz. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in your own country of residence within the EEA.
Security
The App is built to operate locally on your device without transmitting personal data, which by design keeps your information on equipment you control. We take reasonable steps to maintain the integrity of the App we distribute. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keeping your device and its operating system up to date helps protect the data stored on it.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 15 (the digital-consent age in the Czech Republic). In any case, the App collects no personal data from any user, including children.
Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes — for example, if a future version of the App begins to collect personal data — we will update the App and this policy accordingly and indicate the change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
